Contact information

When drafting a cover letter, ensure that the first section of your letter comprises of all relevant information on how you can be contacted.  Include your contact information, mobile number, and all other contact information that would enable the recruiter to easily get across to you.

The first paragraph:

Ensure that your cover letter contains details of the post you apply for right at the beginning, such as the particular job title. Briefly explain how you got to know about the said job opening and why you are the best candidate suited for this position. The body of the first paragraph should be single-spaced with just a single space between each paragraph.

The middle paragraph:

Once you are done with the first paragraph, proceed to the next paragraph. In this paragraph, you are expected to give a detailed explanation of your abilities to the employer. Explain what makes you well suited for this position and how your skills match the position.  Provide brief and precise examples in bullet format.

The final paragraph:

You can conclude by thanking your recruiter for his or her consideration regarding your application.
